1972 Ford Maverick Grabber

STK 3055 1972 Ford Maverick Grabber The Ford Maverick was manufactured from model years 1969 through 1977. It was based on the existing platform of the Falcon and Mustang. The Maverick utilized styling popularized by the Mustang - a long hood, fastback roofline and short rear deck. The Maverick Grabber package was muscle-car themed and introduced special graphics/trim, a front spoiler and distinctive Dual Dome hood. Our 1972 Maverick Grabber had a total restoration in 2021 with mechanical upgrades. The outstanding Dark Green Metallic respray, believed to be the original color, is stunning and accented with Grabber stripping/hood and a nice black vinyl top. Period correct 15 aluminum alloys mount BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The refreshed deluxe interior includes new vinyl upholstery, full gauge package w/Jegs 8,000 RPM tach, shoulder belts and B+M shifter. The current 302ci motor is said to have been rebuilt and is fitted with aluminum heads, performance cam, aluminum intake, Holley carburetor and Ford Racing dress-up kit. Tube headers exit to a custom stainless exhaust system and an aluminum radiator/clutch fan handle cooling. A 3-speed automatic transmission provides torque to the rear differential that came from the factory with 2.79:1 gears. The solid chassis features a front sway bar and upgraded 4-wheel disc brakes. This is a very unique Maverick Grabber that has been carefully built to be driven.
