This plaque was given to my dad and uncle in 1967 or thereabouts. Sadly they never received a 10 year award because all Sinclair stations in the Chicago area were converted to ARCO at the end of the fifties

Emil Henry Bockhold
March 2, 1922 - January 11, 2013
Mr. Emil Henry Bockhold, 90, died January 11, 2013. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held 11 AM, on Monday, January 14, 2013 at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church with Reverend Brian J. Cook officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 PM Sunday, January 13 at Frank Vogler & Sons Reynolda Chapel with military honors commencing at 4 PM.
Mr. Bockhold was born in Terre Haute, IN to the late Anthony and Gertrude Smith Bockhold. He served in the US Navy during WWII with Fleet Air Wing 7 and was stationed in Newfoundland and England. Upon his retirement as a business owner, he and his late wife of forty-three years, Bette, moved to North Carolina. He has been a member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church for thirty years, a life member of the Optimist Club, a member of the Knights of Columbus, Santa Maria Chapter #2829, and the American Legion Post #522 in Lewisville.
Mr. Bockhold will be remembered by his family as a sweet man who loved his family and chose to remain very involved in social, family and community activities. He was an excellent golfer and an extremely supporting and loving grandparent. He is survived by his daughters and their spouses, Roberta and John Becker of Arlington Heights, IL and Donna and John Davis of Pfafftown; four grandchildren, James Becker, Daniel Becker and wife Kathy, Chrissy Smith and husband Chris, and Kevin Davis; two great grandsons, Jacob and Noah Becker; two brothers, William and Edward Bockhold; two sisters, Rita Neal and Maryann Davis; and many special nieces and nephews.
